The French Wine Scholar™ education program is the most advanced, comprehensive and up-to-date French wine course available. This course includes 8 weeks of self-study, fully supported by a comprehensive study manual, interactive e-learning modules for each region, and 8 live review webinars with tasting of 30 French wines. Your online instructor will be Monica Marin DipWSET, FWS, IWS, SWS – named Wine Scholar Guild FWS Instructor of the year 2019 and nominated as best WSET Educator 2019.

This in-depth course begins on begins Monday, February 22, and registration closes on Friday, February 12.

Start Time: 6PM, duration 1.5 to 2 hours
Socially distanced in-person exam (1 hour): Saturday, May 1, in the morning. Students will be assigned different time slots to ensure social distancing.

The course includes 8 week class with 8 live webinars covering ALL the wine regions of France, tutored tastings include 30 high quality wines, many that you have never tasted before, 270 page French Wine Scholar (FWS) study manual, in classroom exam, and online support for 1 year.

This format provides the convenience and flexibility of an online study program with interactive live “classroom” instruction delivered to via computer or tablet and includes live, guided tasting of 30 French wines. Stellar instruction from an award-winning instructor combined with a flexible schedule of study designed for busy professionals and all the necessary tools to master French wines.

The syllabus takes a regional approach and discusses all French wine appellations and the factors that shape their identities. It provides committed students of wine with an unparalleled set of study tools that are designed to maximize learning and boost knowledge retention.

COURSE INCLUDES:

• 30 French wines will be tasted in live guided tastings
• The 270-page, full-color French Wine Scholar Study Manual (6th edition)

• Registration for the French Wine Scholar exam (1 hour, 100 multiple choice questions, a passing minimum of 75%)

CANCELLATION POLICY: No cancellations after Sunday, February 14 (course materials are ordered).
