"The 2020 A.J. Adam Dhron Im Pfarrgarten Feinherb Riesling is more than just fine, it’s fantastic! This wine over delivers by far and is a perfect everyday drinker. To think that this wine might not be here if it wasn’t for Andreas and Barbara Adam. The brother and sister duo have revitalized their family’s holdings, and really much of this small area of the Mosel, as it had been abandoned by the previous generation. The vineyards are located in the Dhron Valley, a small tributary in the Mosel, where they meticulously care for their family’s centuries old vineyards. This particular cuvee comes from the Pfarrgarten, which translates to garden of the rectory. The vines are situated on this steep vineyard and are over 50 years old. This is a great mineral Riesling with beautiful juicy stone fruit and mouthwatering acidity. It’s Feinherb, so it edges towards the dry side, without being bone dry. It was over 90 degrees this past weekend and I can’t think of anything I’d rather drink than A.J. Adam's juicy refreshing Riesling. Vineyard – Location
The Grand Cru Hofberg is one of the greatest Mosel vineyards. In 1868 the vineyards of this hill were classified by the Prussians as an extraordinary place to make great Rieslings. The main part of the vineyards in our region are situated on the Mosel river. But not the Hofberg. It's a lovely quiet side-valley on the Dhron river with weathered Devonian slate in mixture with quartzite. Riesling vines are today 30 to 65 years old and some are still ungrafted.

A perfect place to vinify remarkable wines. Even though young the wines often show a striking exotic fruit, subtle spice, wild slate aromas and a finesse of acidity.

Winemaking notes
`Im Pfarrgarten´ – the garden of the rectory – is our light version of the `in der Sängerei´ feinherb. This more flat `garden´ next to a rectory house with its 50 year old vines is a perfect match for this style of wine. The fermentation took place in steel tanks.

1. Place your online order, select "curbside pickup" and the date you wish to pick up your order. You will receive several emails. The first will acknowledge receipt of your order, another will let you know that your order is ready for curbside pickup.

2. When your order is ready for curbside pickup, it will be at the front of the store. IMPORTANT! Due to space constraints, orders will only be held in the front of the store for curbside pickup for 3 days. After 3 days, they will be moved back to Will Call by the Customer Service Desk inside the store.

3. When picking up, pull up in front of the store. There is no need to call when you arrive at the store – just roll down your passenger window and let us know the name on the order. We will put your order in your vehicle. There is no need to step out of your vehicle.
