SPECIAL PRE-ARRIVAL PRICING ON ONE OF
DOM PERIGNON’S BEST VINTAGES!

“Dom Pérignon, Moët et Chandon’s Tête de Cuvée, really needs no introduction; however, today’s offer is unique because in June we will receive a shipment of the stunning 2002 vintage of this celebrated Champagne. Before it gets here, we are pre-selling it at a great price – only $179.99. Our price for the current vintage (2006) is $169.99 – so for $10 more, you can get the ‘epic’ 2002 bottle! Antonio Galloni tasted it twice (when he was at The Wine Advocate as well as after he founded Vinous), and rated it 96 points in 2010, and then 98 points when he retasted it in 2015.

With a scheduled arrival in June, the timing is perfect for graduation, Father’s Day, summer weddings and anniversary celebrations. For those who want to stock up early for holiday gifts or other celebrations, NOW is an excellent time to buy! Once we receive the wine, the price will go up to $224.99, so don’t wait to save on this ‘elegant’ Champagne! Fewer than 12 stores in the country have this rare wine in stock so order now while you can!– Glen Knight, Wine House

CRITICAL ACCLAIM FOR THE 2002 VINTAGE:
“2002 was an outstanding vintage, most likely the best of the decade. The finest 2002s are powerful, firmly structured and truly mineral but neither lack freshness nor finesse. They have great aging potential, even the wines that were disgorged in the past two years still have many years to age.” – Stephan Reinhardt, Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate

98 Points Vinous: “The 2002 Dom Pérignon speaks to opulence and intensity. Rich, layered and voluptuous in the glass, the 2002 shows off its flamboyant personality with flair. Butter, cooked apple and tropically-leaning fruits mesh together effortlessly. Interestingly, with time in the glass the 2002 gains in freshness and energy without losing its essential opulence. The elevated ripeness of the year gives the 2002 Dom Pérignon distinctly Puligny-Montrachet leaning inflections. Chef de Caves Richard Geoffroy adds that August that year was hot and very dry. Rain towards the end of the month and into early September freshened the vines and accelerated the final phase of ripening. This is yet another fabulous showing from the 2002, which continues to cement its reputation as a truly epic Dom Pérignon.” - Antonio Galloni, October 2015

96 Points Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate:
“The 2002 Dom Perignon is at first intensely floral, with perfumed jasmine that dominates the bouquet. With time in the glass the wine gains richness as the flavors turn decidedly riper and almost tropical. Apricots, passion fruit and peaches emerge from this flashy, opulent Dom Perignon. The wine’s volume makes it approachable today, but readers in search of more complexity will want to cellar this for at least a few years to allow for some of the baby fat to drop off. Geoffroy describes the vintage as very ripe and adds that some of the Chardonnay showed the ill-effects of the hot growing season in the somewhat burned, dehydrated fruit that came in that year. This bottle was disgorged in July, 2009. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2032.” – Antonio Galloni, December 2010

95 Points Wine Spectator: “A rich and smoky Champagne in a graceful package, with a beautiful, fine-grained texture to it and layers of flavor—biscuit, candied lemon peel, coffee liqueur, chamomile, pine, crystallized honey and wood smoke. This is the haute couture of the Champagne world—all about elegance, texture and attention to detail. Drink now through 2027.” –Alison Napjus, The Wine Spectator December 2010

FROM THE PRODUCER

The philosophy, vision and spirit of Dom Pérignon are incarnated in his Manifesto, a document which explains the ten basic principles guiding winemaking at the House. Dom Pérignon can only be a vintage and blended. Each year, the Chef de Cave reinvents the House style with different grapes, creating a unique vintage, a perfect balance between the expression of Dom Pérignon and the expression of the vintage itself. It is made using a subtle blend of two grape varieties – Pinot Noir and Chardonnay – which are taken from the very best vineyards in Champagne. The wines owe their complexity to the slow ripening of the grapes, which conserves freshness while revealing new aromas and new textures with the passing of time. These aromas, which develop in the wines as they are protected from oxygen during the aging process, guarantee exceptional cellaring potential and a characteristic minerality which is an aromatic signature of the House.
