Special In-Store Tasting with TWO Top Sicilian Producers This Thursday (6/22)!

MEET THE OWNERS/WINEMAKERS AND
TASTE ELEGANT SICILIAN WINES!

The Wine House is thrilled to welcome two Sicilan owner/winemakers for a special in-store tasting this Thursday, June 22. Meet both Salvatore Geraci (Palari) and Alberto Graci (Graci). Palari is a small producer from the northeast, above Messina and is lauded for having some of Sicily’s most elegant wines. Luigi Veronelli, renowned Italian wine critic, compared the first vintage of Palari’s Faro to Romanée-Conti, and it has since reached cult status. Palari produces some of the finest examples of terroir-driven wines in Sicily.

Participants will also meet Alberto Aiello Graci, who has been making wine on Sicily's Mount Etna since 2004. The region of Etna Rosso is famous for its black lava soils and elegant red wines made from the Nerello Mascalese and Cappuccio grapes. The company philosophy is to “cultivate traditional varieties indigenous to Mount Etna and aim to respect local traditions as well as the distinct characters of each vintage.”
