EASY-DRINKING RED AT THE RIGHT PRICE!

“I brought the 2015 Real Compania De Vinos Garnacha Tradicion in because it simply over delivers for the price! I already have a great selection of ‘value-driven’ Spanish wines here, but I could not let this one pass us by. It was just too good for the money and furthermore, I just love Grenache (Garnacha)! I think of it as another great BBQ red that won’t leave a hole in your wallet when you buy a case. But it’s not only a BBQ wine, it also pairs wonderfully with paella or risotto, pastas, red and white meats, hard cheese and charcuterie. Enjoy!” – Jim Knight, The Wine House

FROM THE IMPORTER

TASTING NOTES: This Garnacha is very elegant and complex, with an aromatic intensity that includes a wide variety of fruit (cherries, strawberries and raspberries are most prominent). The nose follows through to the palate, which is redolent of fresh fruit, soft and elegant, with a long, fruity finish.

WINEMAKER NOTES:
The grapes come from 20 to 50 year old vines planted in Central Spain. The soils are clay – ideal for growing grapes. The climate is continental, with cold winters and hot summers. During the summer, there is great contrast between the day and night temperatures, which help the grapes reach optimum ripeness. The grapes are hand-picked and sorted. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for 12 days with daily pump-over in order to achieve the best color, aroma and tannin extraction. Malolactic fermentation takes place in the stainless steel and is followed by light fining and filtration just prior to bottling, in an effort to preserve as much of the wine’s fine fruit aromas as possible.

SERVING HINTS: This wine is ideally served at room temperature with paella and other rice casserole dishes, pastas, red and white meats. It is ideal for Spanish-style “tapas” and appetizers.

GRAPE VARIETY: 100% Garnacha
ALCOHOL: 13.4%
