LAST CALL ON POPULAR SMALL-LOT CHIANTI!

“These days, wines are here, then out of stock in the blink of an eye. When we offered  the ‘fabulous’ 93 point 2019 Giacomo Mori Palazzone Chianti DOCG back in April 2022, it sold out quickly. We just received our final drop of this popular wine, so now's your last chance to get this Chianti that ‘pulses with energy from start to finish,’ according to Antonio Galloni of Vinous. He also writes that the ‘2019 is one of the very finest editions I can remember tasting. Don't miss it.’

Giacomo Mori is one of the first estates from Chianti that started marketing wine in Europe and in the United States. Founded in the 1880s, the Giacomo Mori estate today is a model small family farm in the Tuscan countryside. With 10 hectares of Sangiovese, Giacomo, his niece Lydia Arcangelo, and their team produce a delicious, extremely limited wine due to the small size of the estate. We only had 10 cases last year, and now we have a final 10 cases. With a price of only $22.99, I expect this will move swiftly, so don't hesitate!” – Lance Montalto, The Wine House

Please join us on Thursday, June 8, for our in-store Giro d’Italia featuring the wines of Terlano, Silvio Nardi, and more. This 'tour' will begin in Alto Adige with the wines of Terlano, then move on to the Veneto region with the Amarones of Massimago, then to Tuscany for some iconic Brunellos of Silvio Nardi, and to the final destination of Puglia, with one of the region's hottest estates, Masseria Cuturi. Taste 25 wines for just $50.

93 Points: “The 2019 Chianti is fabulous. Bright, punchy and full of Sangiovese character, Mori's Chianti pulses with energy from start to finish. Lively acids perk up a core of crushed red berry and floral flavors. The 2019 is one of the very finest editions I can remember tasting. Don't miss it.
